From Saturday 4 December 2021 to Sunday 2 January 2022, Menton attires itself with its most beautiful Christmas decorations to take you on a trip to Scandinavia, Santa Claus’s region, during the holiday season. In order to delight young and old, several activities await you such as : rides, ice rink, shows, workshops, parades…
Through the town, discover the different illuminations, decorations and other festivities planned for Christmas to bring a little magic to you and your whole family.
On Friday 3 December 2021, from 6 :00 pm to 7 :00 pm, attend the official Christmas illumination of Menton and the opening of the Christmas market ! (the switching on of the Christmas lights in the town, start of rides, show and choir from 6 :00 pm).

Finally, encourage them to participate in the treasure hunt « in search of Santa’s reindeer » (from the 4th to 24th of December), so that they can save the great tour of Christmas gifts ! Their involvement is essential, without it no Christmas gifts at all under the Christmas tree !
For the whole family
From December 4th, 2021 to January 2nd, 2022Go to the Fornari Place to admire the wonferful view of the city from the Menton big wheel. Then, take a walk to the Christmas market to discover the artisanal and local products in the thirty chalets present (Mail du Bastion and Esplanade Francis Palmero). And, put on your skates and let yourself go on the ice rink to have fun (Parvis du Musée Cocteau).
After that, take a well-deserved yummy break at the « gourmands stands » (in the upper part of the Biovès Gardens) to taste the flavours of Christmas (French mulled wine, hot chocolate, waffles, crepes, churros…). Once refreshed and full, head back to the various shows at Biovès Gardens (free from the 19th to 30th of December), for a family moment full of laughter and good vibes.
On Friday 24 December from 4 :30 pm to 5 :45 pm, do not miss the Christmas Parade that leads you to the enchanting world of the Christmas holidays. Guranteed wonder for young and old !
End the year 2021 in beauty with the New Year’s Eve parade (On Friday 31 December from 4 :30 pm to 5 :45 pm) which sows magic everywhere in the streets of Menton.
Finally, start the new year on good notes and go, with family, at the New Year’s Eve Concert on Saturday 1 January 2022, from 5 :00 pm to 6 :00 pm at Palais de l’Europe.
